How Does Raise A Tree Work?
Raise A Tree is a website that allows Primary School pupils to plant their own virtual tree somewhere around the world, nurturing it to make sure it grows healthily.
Pupils must water their tree everyday and answer online educational activities that connect directly into the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum to help their trees grow healthier, so they can top the class league!
Occasionally, pupils' trees will be hit by environmental disasters, such as Acid Rain, that help teach about the rising problem of Climate Change and what can be done to reduce our impact on the plant.
Also included in the licence are Real Tree Planting Kits that provide each pupil with the means to plant and raise their own real tree, thus reducing carbon emissions whilst educating pupils and having fun at the same time!
